From an early age, I was surrounded by creativity. My parents often worked on home projects and encouraged me to join in conversations about design, renovations, and décor. We took pride in creating a space that was not only functional but also welcoming. The more I explored this field, the more it became clear to me that interior design was my true calling. I realized how much I loved crafting spaces that blend beauty, function, and personality, and foster the art of hospitality.
My career as a Designer at Pheasant Hill Designs in Charlotte, NC, was an incredibly formative time. I had the opportunity to work alongside the Principal Designer. For four years, I was deeply involved in every aspect of the design process, from drafting floor plans and creating detailed elevations/3D models to sourcing materials like tile, lighting, countertops, appliances, plumbing, custom cabinetry, furniture and fabrics. My role also included managing client and contractor relationships, organizing installations, and helping bring each design vision to life. Working closely with a seasoned professional who had been in the business for over 20 years allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge and grow both personally and professionally in a collaborative environment.
Before that time, I graduated Cum Laude with an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design and a Certificate in Kitchen & Bath Design. My education gave me a strong foundation in design principles and specialized knowledge in creating functional and aesthetic designs for Residential projects. The combination of rigorous coursework and hands-on learning equipped me with the tools needed to succeed in the industry.
Today, I’m passionate about creating spaces that not only reflect the personalities of my clients but also enhance their daily lives. Whether it’s a minor refresh or a complete renovation, I take pride in crafting environments that feel like a beautiful, functional, and unique haven.
